Ahead of Tesco’s unmissable Black Friday 2020 deals that are dropping this week, the supermarket has issued some advice to its shoppers who have struggled to secure Christmas food delivery slots. Christmas is on the way and after a year dominated by lockdown supermarket delivery slots are being snapped up. Tesco, Asda and M&S have already warned about limited slots for Christmas supermarket. Tesco have spoken out following a surge in demand from online shoppers for their Christmas delivery slots. The supermarket chain released the delivery slots for groceries at 7am this morning.

According to Tesco, delivery slots for Christmas is launching on November 13th for delivery saver customers and November 20 for non-delivery savers.
The Tesco website says: 'Slots fill up quickly so make sure you get a slot' If you think you're going to forget, you can add a calendar reminder so you can grab your food.
Asda

Asda has confirmed that its delivery slots will open on November 6 but for those with a delivery pass, you can pre-order your food on October 30.
The website says: 'Our delicious Food to Order range includes starters, mains, desserts and party foods, as well as a selection of vegan foods. Whether delivered to your door or collected from your local store, your festive feast will make it a Christmas to be remembered'.
Morrisons

It is unknown when the slots will open up for those without a delivery pass.
Sainsbury's
© PA Sainsbury'sSainsbury's doesn't appear to have said anything about Christmas delivery slots this year. However, the site is allowing you to order all your food in advance and then choose a collection slot.
The website reads: 'Take the stress out of Christmas with Sainsbury’s Food to order. It’s easy. Simply order your special Christmas meal or impressive Boxing Day buffet and leave the rest to us. We'll make sure it's ready for the big day, so you can enjoy the festivities'.

You can order two weeks in advance for delivery.
Tesco customers have been left furious after having to wait hours in a virtual queue to secure a Christmas delivery slot.
This morning the supermarket released slots for the week starting 21 December - but only to their delivery saver customers who pay a subscription fee.
But after waking up to log on at 7am, many complained they had still not been given a slot after two-and-a-half hours of waiting.
One person posted on Twitter: 'What an absolute joke. Been a delivery customer for years, have delivery saver.
Almost two and a half hours waiting and still in the queue 😡

Another user posted: 'Been waiting 2.5 hours now (since 6.59) in a queue for Christmas slot. What's happening? Am I lost in cyber hell somewhere?'
Customers were faced with a message that read: 'You are currently in a queue - we'll put you through as soon as we can.'

On its Twitter page, the supermarket posted: 'A lot of customers are using our website and app at the moment. So we're temporarily using a virtual waiting room to help manage the flow.
'We're sorry if things take a bit longer than usual.'

Those who did manage to book complained festive essentials like turkeys were not yet available.
There was also no mention of people on the government's vulnerable list, who are entitled to priority delivery slots because of coronavirus.

'We are experiencing high volumes of traffic to our website and groceries app and are temporarily limiting the number of customers using it.'
They apologised for the inconvenience and claimed home delivery and click and collect slots are still available for the Christmas period.
