This is a list of casinos in Ohio.
Hollywood Casino Toledo is committed to providing a safe and clean environment to our guests and Team Members. In relation to the COVID-19 virus, we continue to closely monitor information from Ohio Department of Health as well as the Centers for Disease Control. A day to celebrate all things Yu-Gi-Oh! We will be hosting a Yu-Gi-Oh tournament on November 23rd @ 1pm. It will run like our normal Thursday night tournaments, however the entry fee will be $12. This will of course up the prize pool! Prizes:-1st place: Exclusive Playmat and Field Center-2nd-8th place: Exclusive Field Center.
History[edit]
Casinos were prohibited in Ohio before 2009, so gamblers instead visited casinos in Indiana, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Michigan where they were permitted. In November 2009, Ohio voters approved a measure that would allow for four casinos to be established in the state, one each in Cincinnati, Columbus, Cleveland and Toledo. The casinos were expected to generate $600 million in revenue, with fees collected there to be redistributed to school districts and local governments in the state. It passed by a vote of 53 to 47.[1]
