Tampa, FL – August 27, 2018 – CopaSAT LLC, a leader in highly reliable and secure global communication technology, has been named by Avanti as an authorized distributor to the DoD for the HYLAS Constellation of high capacity Ka bandwidth covering multiple regions.

The HYLAS satellite fleet leverages partners spanning 118 countries, providing a network with worldwide internet service to almost 2 billion people. HYLAS uses smaller, focused spot beams to provide higher speeds, as well as maintain efficiency and available capacity. Along with 64 fixed beams, HYLAS 4 features 4 steerable beams that provide highly flexible capacity throughout Africa, Latin America and Europe.

The strategic partnership will directly support US military and Governmental organizations in the provision of flexible, agile and portable satellite communications across EMEA. The collaboration between Avanti and CopaSAT will enable military and government users to maximize the benefits of High Throughput Satellite broadband and take full advantage of high capacity data traffic, including full motion video and other C4ISR applications.
